2025-2026 School Year Registration Dates: 

• September- December: Registration opens 7/28/2025
• January- June: Registration opens November 2025; specific date to come!

Participant/Parent/Guardian Agreement:

• Middle School Transport is an after school opportunity for 5th-8th grade Y Members.
• Transportation is only offered on FULL days of school. No early release transport offered.
• The Y only offers transportation for Silver Lake and Nature Hill Intermediate Schools. A parent/guardian must register their child(ren) by NOON on the day of in order for the child to be a registered participant for transportation and ride the bus.
• Cancellations must happen a minimum of 72 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up date. After that no refund will be offered.
• If your child is sick the day of transportation, please call Member Services so they can take your child(ren) off the roster.
• If your child tries to get on the bus and their name is NOT on the list, the driver will not be able to take the child back to the YMCA. They will have to stay at their school.
• Your child must be on the bus no later than 3:05 pm or we will assume they are absent or at another activity for the day.
• PLEASE NOTE: we cannot guarantee a spot on the bus if it is full and the participant is NOT registered.
• Transportation spot will not be confirmed until payment is received and processed.
• Is NOT a structured program. Participants can independently leave an activity and/or the Y at any time. Check-in and check-out is not required. Participants are expected to make independent positive choices while at the Y under little to no supervision.
• Adherence to the Y Code of Conduct is essential. Non-compliance may result in suspension or termination of Y Membership privileges.

• Transportation is only offered after the second class is done. No transportation will be offered after the first class finishes up.
• The Y only offers transportation for Nature Hill Intermediate School. A parent/guardian must register their child(ren) by 9:00AM on the day of in order for the child to be a registered participant for transportation and ride the bus.
• Cancellations must happen a minimum of 72 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up date. After that no refund will be offered.
• If your child is sick the day of transportation, please call Member Services so they can take your child(ren) off the roster.
• If your child tries to get on the bus and their name is NOT on the list, the driver will be required to call member services. Member Services will call parent/guardian for confirmation. If the parent/guardian does NOT answer the phone, the participant will NOT be allowed to ride the bus.
• Your child must be on the bus no later than 12:05pm or we will assume they are absent for the day.
