• Tuesday, March 11th: Geology Adventure: During this workshop, young geologists will embark on an exciting journey to discover the wonders of our planet.  This hands-on experience is designed to explore the fascinating world of rocks, minerals, and fossils!  Activities include chocolate chip mining, air dry clay fossils, and more!
• Tuesday, April 22nd: Eco-Art & Recycled Projects: During this workshop, young artists will celebrate Earth Day by transforming everyday recyclables into beautiful works of art. This hands-on experience is designed to inspire children to explore creativity while promoting sustainability. Participants will engage in fun projects using materials like plastic bottles, cardboard, and old newspapers to create unique crafts. Join us to learn about the importance of recycling and leave with a one-of-a-kind masterpiece that shows love for our planet!
• Monday, May 5th- 3D Printing: Dive into the world of 3D printing in this engaging, hands-on workshop!  Young creators will unleash their imagination as they learn the fundamentals of 3D design.  Participants will explore how 3D printers work, experiment with digital modeling, and watch their designs take shape!  Get ready to create, innovate, and take home a 3D printed project!
• Thursday, May 29th: Move In May: During this workshop, young participants will discover the perfect balance of movement and mindful nutrition through an engaging fitness session and a delicious hands-on snack activity. In celebration of #MoveInMay, kids will get active with fun exercises designed to build strength, flexibility, and endurance, followed by nutritious snack making that highlights the importance of fueling their bodies with healthy foods. This interactive class encourages a love for fitness and nutritious eating, leaving participants energized and inspired to make wellness a part of their everyday routine!

For ages 6-12.  For non-members and participants under the age of 8, parents must pick up from the workshop at the conclusion of class. Member participants over the age of 8 are allowed to be in the YMCA without a parent/guardian present.

Our kids’ art class is designed to be a fun and inspiring experience where young artists can explore their creativity and learn fundamental art techniques! Whether your child is a budding artist or simply loves to express themselves through colors and shapes, our program encourages imagination and skill-building in a supportive environment. This is a four-week class for boys and girls ages 8-14.

Great summers start at the Y!  Each week during the summer, we will be offering enrichment mini camps on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30pm-3:30pm.  Camps include a wide variety of topics ranging from baking, to photography, to gardening, to science, to Esports, and more!  Registration is based on the week, so you can choose what works best for your children and family.

**Mini camps may involve off-site explorations! For specific camps, we will use the Y van for transportation and return back to the Y at the end time of camp.  Parents will be informed in advance of any off-site explorations planned for the week!

• Photography & Drawing: Capture the world through your lens and sketchbook! This camp blends photography & drawing techniques to help young artists express their creativity.
• Gardening & Cooking: From garden to table! Kids will harvest fresh ingredients from the YMCA community garden and turn them into delicious, healthy meals while learning about gardening and nutrition.
• STEM: Experiment, build, and explore! This hands-on camp dives into science, technology, engineering, and math through exciting challenges and projects.
• Baking: Mix, bake, and decorate! Young chefs will learn baking fundamentals while creating tasty treats to share and enjoy.
• Outdoor Adventure: Discover nature through exploration and challenge! Campers will hike, climb, and navigate the outdoors while building teamwork and confidence.
• Art: Unleash creativity through painting, sculpting, and more! This camp introduces a variety of art techniques to inspire young artists.
• Esports & Coding: Level up your gaming skills and dive into coding! Kids will explore game strategy, teamwork, and the basics of programming in a fun and interactive setting.
• Stitch & Style: Design, stitch, and create! From hand-sewing to fashion design, this camp lets kids explore textiles and express their unique style.
• Builders & Creators: Imagine, design, and construct! Kids will use a mix of materials to build exciting projects while developing problem-solving and engineering skills.

• Wednesday, August 13th – Bouquet Building: Join us for a hands-on floral experience at White Stag Farm! In this creative and interactive workshop, young participants will explore the beauty of seasonal flowers while learning the art of bouquet design. Guided by experienced instructors, kids will discover how to select, arrange, and care for fresh flowers to create their own stunning bouquets.  Please note- participants will meet at White Stag Farm for the workshop!
