Wednesday, January 15th: Snow Globes & Photography 

• During this workshop, young artists will dive into the magical world of snow globe creation and photography. This hands-on experience is designed to inspire children to craft their own enchanting snow globes while learning photography techniques to capture their creations in stunning detail. Participants will have fun designing their globes and will leave with a beautiful keepsake and tips for taking fantastic photos! Join us for a winter wonderland of creativity!

Wednesday, February 12th: DIY Gifts

• During this workshop, young crafters will unleash their creativity to design and make unique, personalized gifts. This hands-on experience is designed to inspire children to explore their artistic skills while creating thoughtful treasures they can share with family and friends. From custom cards to decorative items, participants will leave with beautiful gifts just in time for Valentine’s Day!

Tuesday, March 11th: Geology Adventure 

• During this workshop, young geologists will embark on an exciting journey to discover the wonders of our planet.  This hands-on experience is designed to explore the fascinating world of rocks, minerals, and fossils!  Activities include chocolate chip mining, air dry clay fossils, and more!

Tuesday, April 22nd: Eco-Art & Recycled Projects

• During this workshop, young artists will celebrate Earth Day by transforming everyday recyclables into beautiful works of art. This hands-on experience is designed to inspire children to explore creativity while promoting sustainability. Participants will engage in fun projects using materials like plastic bottles, cardboard, and old newspapers to create unique crafts. Join us to learn about the importance of recycling and leave with a one-of-a-kind masterpiece that shows love for our planet!

For ages 6-12.  For non-members and participants under the age of 8, parents must pick up from the workshop at the conclusion of class. Member participants over the age of 8 are allowed to be in the YMCA without a parent/guardian present.

Our STEAM class is designed to spark curiosity and creativity as students explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math through hands-on activities and challenges!  Whether your child is an aspiring inventor or simply loves to tinker and experiment, our program hopes to inspire and educate while fostering a passion for discovery.  This is a four-week class for boys and girls ages 8-14.

Our kids baking class is designed to be a delightful and educational experience where young chefs can learn about the fundamentals of baking and create delicious treats!  Whether your child is a budding baker or simply loves to get creative in the kitchen, our program promises to inspire and educate while fostering a love for baking.
