The Spirit Award recognizes a child for his or her display of five character values:

Caring, Faith, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility

The Month of April is Spirit Award Nomination Month! Nominate a deserving child or teen by April 30th, 2025 for our Christian Emphasis Committee to consider for this year’s award.

SPIRIT AWARD NOMINATIONS

Awards will be given to youth in three age groups:

  • 3rd-5th grades
  • 6th-8th grades
  • 9th-12th grades

Nominations can be made by teachers or administrators, pastors, friends, or anyone who serves as an influence in the life of a youth. Recipients of this award receive a one-year YMCA membership for themselves and their family, plus a $200 program credit. Nominations close April 26th.
